Anybody move/moving into a new place near your due date?

I would rather move while pregnant than move with a brand new baby

I moved with a six-month-old rather than move pregnant, but if you could have I would have rather done the move pregnant. Much harder when trying to look after a little one.
At the same time if you do be careful not to push things. My mom went into labor with me a week or so early because she decided to pick up a heavy, rolled up carpet and it made her water break right away.

I’m moving to Japan 2 months after my due date lol Gotta love the Army. We basically have to start her passport process as soon as we have her birth certificate and SS card. Fun stuff 😬

I did this my first pregnancy and don’t recommend it at all. I was due with my son in July, we closed on our house May 13th. I had an emergency c-section due to extremely high blood pressure on May 16th.

With my last pregnancy, I joined the 8 month pregnant moving club when we brought a home. It was amazing to be in our own home when the baby was born. I did help with the painting and sanding the floors before we moved in. It was just so nice to know we'd be in our home. Extreme nesting I suppose.

We moved last weekend. We found out our old rental had four different types of mold in the air vents... we got out asap. Luckily we were able to move to a significantly nicer home with cheaper rent!

I moved last weekend @ 31 weeks. We moved slowly but I put “worth it” because I went from a 3 story townhouse to a house with the master on the bottom floor. 🙌🏼 it’s already been such a relief not having to take so many stairs. I can normally move in a weekend & this time I had to spread it out over a week but we got it done!

Yup!! This is me, 32 weeks pregnant. We move in on Friday and most of the rooms look like this!! 🙈

My hubby and I just bought a house, we got possession this week and are doing a few renovations for the next couple week. Will be moving when I’m 35 weeks pregnant lol. I’m 32 weeks now and still feeling great, working full time on my feet all day and doing Pilates so I think I should be able to help with the move! 
Definitely worth it, the house we were renting isn’t safe for kids. It’s on a busy road, has super steep and slippery stairs (it’s an old house), and the heat and air conditioning barely reaches the bedrooms upstairs. 
Our new house has been entirely redone on the main floor, and we are putting new drywall and painting upstairs. Can’t wait to move!

It will be way easier to move before the baby comes than after. With my son, I moved from NY to NC at 36 weeks. My mother helped a ton with the packing and I didn’t really do any of the lifting myself. It was stressful but we made it work. I cannot imagine doing the same move with a newborn.
