Birth control.? Unprotected sex

So I have been in my birth control pack for about 4 months. Right now I’m on the week of the placebo pills for what’s supposed to be my period. Don’t really have one right now but I do have cramps and very very light pink when I wipe sometimes. If I have sex unprotected and he finishes in me and I still protected from the birth control or no because of me taking the “fake” ones due to my period week? Idk if that made sense sorry!
