My husband and I have been together for 10 years and married for 5. We have a son. His sister, Lanee, is my closest friend. She’s dating a guy named Chris and has been for over a year now. He and I have gotten to be good friends as well. They continually argue, and Lanee is an incredibly jealous person, especially if he gives other females any sort of attention. Anytime all 4 of us hang out if he even speaks to me she makes comments about how “Oh I guess you want to have sec with her now.” It’s exhausting

Chris came to me before thanksgiving and said he was going to break up with her after the holidays because he couldn’t handle the fighting. On December 3 he admitted to me that he has feelings for me. He has been very explicit that he won’t make a move on me to respect my marriage but had continued to tell me how much he likes me and how cute sexy beautiful etc I am since. He also has not broken up with Lanee yet.

I’m looking for advice on what I should do in this situation? If I tell Lanee I feel like she will turn it back around in me. If I tell my husband he will tell her and probably stomp Chris’ ass. I’m at a loss for what to do.
