I just read the worst story about THE WORST retail interaction in my life. Basically this optician was humiliated and harrassed by this idiot who was trying to low key steal sunglasses for her kid. She came in and got fitted for her own glasses that her insurence paid for while her daughter dicked around with the kids sunglasses.

Everything was fine at this point. They finish and this woman tried to walk out with her daughter STILL wearing the sunglasses. The worker tells her to stop and she starts a fight and tells him the daughter should get to keep them because be said she was cute in them and now she wants them.

Then shit starts and ends in the kid crushing the glasses on the ground, the insurence being revoked and the woman having to pay for everything and a call to corporate. Oh and lets not forget a good ending to a story where a shitty person and parent got what was coming to them for once.

That's not the problem tho. This worker was humiliated publicly like they often are and wanted to vent online. The only thing he said against these people was that people like that should be shot into the sun at the end of his rant. And THAT is what commenters hung onto. Not that he was humiliated. Not the bullshit retailers put up with. Not that this woman scum and teaching her kid to be the same way. No. One bad comment at the very end is being treated as if the glasses company seriously had an enormous cannon aimed at the largest star and that thus man was going to hunt this mother and child down and put them in it.

Let people vent for fucks sake. If you're going to scold people then scold the RIGHT people. Where is your sense of good and bad? Or is yours like that mothers?
