No luck with metformin

My doctor put me on metformin 500mg in august of 2017. I have been taking it once daily. Now I see ladies on here mentioning how they get pregnant off of it and stuff. I wonder why it hasn’t worked for me? I been on the same dose for so long without any luck my doctor should’ve looked into it and upped the dose. It sucks 😕 I really need to find a new ob. This one doesn’t care. She told me to loose weight and I worked my ass off for 6 months. I lost 40lbs brought myself down to 139lbs and went back to her and she said now you’ll get pregnant in no time. I asked her when she’ll see me again? and she told me not until you are pregnant again 🤦🏻‍♀️ that didn’t sit well with me. If I could get pregnant on my own I wouldn’t be coming to you lady 😑

Did you ladies get pregnant from metformin and if so what dosage were you on?

She even had me on clomid a few months after metformin. I mc and she never bothered to monitor me. I wasn’t even monitored when I was on clomid. Not check ups to see if I ovulated or if I had good progesterone levels.

God I wasted 3 years 😶
