Yeast infections

Hello my name is zoey and I’ve been getting yeast infections now for about 5-6 months and they won’t go away... my doctor recommend that i take acidophilus pills but I’m so scared that they are gonna come back... Ik I shouldn’t be stressing because im pretty sure they are mostly causes by stress but I can’t help it... I also take the depo shot every 3 months and I read online that it can cause yeast infections... I don’t have the money to eat yogurt everyday... is there anything else I can do to prevent this from happening?
