How long did you wait till you went out for the first time? Or how long do you plan on waiting?

My first c-section was an emergency cs. I remember my son was already 3-4 weeks old and I was still in pain when getting up or moving around.

Now, a week ago I had my second C-section which was planned. Recovery has been so much better this time. I’m still sore and have some pain, but not too bad.

Yesterday I went out for the first time, only for an hour or so. Just church 😂 and it is less than 5 min from our house.

I told my friend and she said I’m going out way to soon. I should take better care of myself, I’ll regret it later on.

I’m wondering if it was too soon? 🤔 I always try to “listen” to my body and I felt fine 🤷🏻‍♀️
