Mucus Plug

Okay, so I’ve been losing small piece of my mucus plug since probably 37 weeks. I’m now 40 weeks 5 days. But since I hit 40 weeks I’ve been losing larger chunks of it. I literally didn’t think more could be left at this point, but this morning TMI, I could literally feel it coming out! So I went to the bathroom and lost more this time around than I EVER have. It was a huge chunk. I’ve never had any blood present in it though. I’ve been have sharp shooting pains in my rectal area since. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m not really sure what to think because I’m so over due I’m at the point where I’m just waiting for my induction on Wednesday because this baby doesn’t want to come out. I’m just wondering I guess if this has happened to anyone else? I’m just trying to not read into anything but it’s obviously hard.
