Hi, I’m newer here. My husband and I are trying for baby #2.  I’m in high fertility range right now according to the clearblue advanced test I took today (flashing smiley for those who have taken them before). Anyways, we had sex, but I’m prone to UTI’s so I always have to go to the bathroom right after. My question is, did I still get sperm inside me and have a chance at pregnancy even though I couldn’t lay horizontally for any amount of time once we “finished”? Sorry if TMI.

Laying down after is a myth. Sperm comes out at about 28mph and is where it needs to be before he has time to pull out.

Yes. It’s still possible. Laying flat or upside down is just a myth, it’s not actually proven to work. Some swear by it, others have no idea what that even means lol. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼

The second your man comes in you, there is more than enough sperm that passes your cervix and makes its way to where it needs to go. The left over sperm that comes out doesn't make a difference. You're good girl don't worry! I never layed with my legs in the air and still got pregnant fairly quickly.

Yeah you should be fine. I always pee immediately and I get pregnant easily. Sperm clots up like mucus so it will still stick around in there
