Converting Myself to Rastafari
On so many years of feeling spiritually lost, not feeling welcomed in ANY church, I've finally found a belief that I think suits me great. After a lot of thought and research, I've decided to become a Rastan. I know this belief is usually for Africans and African Americans, (myself being white), I feel completely ready to devote myself and my children to Jah and his teachings of life. Here are the things that I know about Rasta Women....
1. Red, Gold, Green, and Black are Rasta Colors
2. Rasta Women must wear skirts and only occasional pants
3. My husband is my Idren and Kingman of the household
4. Marijuana is the Holy Herb
5. My body is my temple, meaning to never mark or harm it
6. I must never eat red meat as it will rot in my body
7. My Idren has final say on any decision
8. I must praise Jah everyday for the blessings he gives me
9. I must never wear pink or purple because these are the colors of street walkers
10. I should put my hair in dreadlocks to present myself as pure.
Please feel free to comment anything else you think I will need to know, Thanks!
