Baby will only come when it’s ready. I tried everything in the book and went one week over with first and two over with second. I’ve heard evening primrose oil up the j and swallowed, red raspberry leaf tea, squats, sex, blowing up balloons...
I can tell you what they did do for me! Strengthened my uterus so labor was easy and dilated me fast but didn’t put me into labor any faster.

Natural labor induction methods only work if your body is already ready to be in labor. Preterm labor is caused by a number of complications, slow baby growth, incompetent cervix, scar tissue on the cervix, or it’s just random.
