how many stool softeners is safe to take in a 24 hour period?

i took a stool softener this morning around 9am, and then i took another one around 5pm. i would like to take another one around 3am so i can easily pass a bowel tomorrow, but i’m not sure if it’s safe to take 3 within 24 hours. i’m 23 weeks pregnant. the brand of stool softener is the Equate version of Colace.

I always wondered if you could take maximum amount while pregnant too. To be safe I would just call the pharmacist and ask. They know everything about meds and are so helpful. Good luck!!
