6 week loss

So i had my first scan today at 6 weeks. Doctor didn't see anything inside the sac, no fetal pole or anything. She's giving me the option to miscarry on my own, take cytotec, or have a d&c. I seriously don't know which one to choose.

I miscarried last year at 11 weeks & I elected to allow the miscarriage to happen naturally...BIG MISTAKE! Talk about excruciating pain. Ended up in the ER in the middle of the night for an emergency d&c. I've heard horrible things about cytotec so I'm too afraid to use it. I'm afraid going the natural route will be excruciating again. And I'm afraid of possible scary tissue from a d&c.
