What Should I Expect - My First Pap Smear...

Hey ladies! I’ve just turned 18 and my mum has booked me in for my first Pap smear...what should I expect? I honestly know absolutely nothing about it and she hasn’t really bothered explaining it to me. So please share anything! What does it do? How is it done? Does it hurt? Thank you!!

They’ll make you take off your clothes, and put on a little gown thingy (if they check boobs too idk mine does) 
And then the doctor will come in, have you put your feet up in the stirrups, and he or she will just grab a swab of your vaginal mucus, if they do check your breasts they’ll just feel for any lumps.  It’s super quick, painless, and they see so many vaginas in a day that it doesn’t faze them one bit! 
So whether you are shaved, or not it doesn’t matter!
