Did a D&C mess with your cycle?

Question

I had a missed miscarriage and D&C in October. Period returned 6 weeks later and I thought I had a couple of normal cycles, but now my period has shown up a full week before I was expecting it. Husband and I are ttc and this is making it so difficult! 
Did anyone else’s cycle become inconsistent after a D&C?

I too experienced a MMC & D&C in October. Afterward I had long irregular bleeding which led the doctors to believe I had retained products of conception. An ultrasound showed there was something in my uterus and the amount of time inbetween led doctors to perform a hysteroscopy & second D&C. Turns out that what they were seeing was polyps! 
Polyps sometimes form due to inflammation after D&C & MC, the polyps were removed! 
Bleeding in between periods, after sex, and prolonged menstrual bleeding could be signs of polys or RPOC. 
Miscarriage sucks 🥵 I’m so sorry for your loss.
