Which one do you prefer for a newborn to sleep in?

I live in a 1 bedroom townhouse. Will be moving into a house next year. I just don’t know how easy it would be to take the bed apart if I got a convertible bed. Should I wait until my child outgrow the pack n play first?

My husband and I are getting something like this. He doesnt like cribs and I dont want a regular pack and play for my newborn. So we are compromising lol. And we have a bassinet in the livingroom for naps

Bassinet. Then pack and play when he got to big. Then crib. I had a c section so it I really couldnt use the crib first even if I wanted to 🤷

We used the crib right off the bat. We moved last year and it really wasn’t too difficult to take apart and put back together   (I took it apart and reassembled it myself)

My son slept in a bassinet beside my bed until he could roll over on his own, then he went into his crib in the nursery. We only used a pack and play when we traveled.

Mine was sleeping on the top part of the pack and play but when he reached the weight limit we got him a mini crib. Honestly we should have skipped the pack and play. My baby didn't move to his crib until he was 6 months. I'd just wait until your babe out grows the pack n play, cribs are complicated to put together.

For my newborn, I had him sleep in a bassinet, I felt like the crib was too big. For my next child, they'll use the same bassinet

I did both. I had a pack n play with the bassinet part which we used for the first 2 months. Then my son slept in pack n play for another 2 months until I transferred him to his room. If anything I would honestly do the crib. They grow fast out of the pack n play.
