Why 😩

I know this sounds awful but I have waited and waited to get pregnant and found out I was last Monday. My husband and I haven’t told anyone yet, even family but Saturday my husbands cousins wife texted me and told me she is pregnant. We are due about 5 days apart. Although I’m excited for her I was ready for my time. I shared my last pregnancy with someone in the family also. Just ranting, needed to let it out!

I'm on the other side of the situation. My sister in law is currently pregnant. And my husband is upset that I don't want to tell anyone until after she delivers. I feel like if we tell it takes away from her pregnancy. ( I have really rough pregnancies) . and I don't want her to feel robbed. (So I completely understand😉)

Just make your announcement super special for the grandparents or whomever is special! That is all that matters anyway.

I'm actually sad I'm NOT sharing this time with anyone. Both my sisters have a bunch of kids already and I think they're both done. My little brother's wife is in medical school and I doubt anywhere near ready so my little nugget is going to have no cousins their same age and it makes me sad.

I totally get it my friend got pregnant like 3 months after me once and she has horrible pregnancies so all the shine got taken away from me and everyone was just worried about her. It sounds so selfish but I absolutely know whT you mean

I understand, I was pregnant at the same time as both my sisters and my sister in law. Mine got pushed to the side because my sisters feel the need to make everything about themselves. This time so far it’s just me but we haven’t told anyone yet, I wanted to our time to be excited without something like that happening again.
