Please help!

So my period should start in a few days, but yesterday I started getting like some serious cramps. Mixed with a sting in the right side of my stomach. I thought it was an infected appendix, you see I am quite the hypochondriac so I always assume the worst lmao. Anyway I got really cold and shivery and just felt bad overall. The shivers and stuff stopped but I still have this sting on the same place, bottom right of my stomach, and I’m so scared that it’s an infected appendix. If it keeps hurting I’m going to see a doctor tomorrow.

Has anyone experienced this before their period?
