Should I be part owner of a shop and be a full time mom?

My boyfriend and his brother are opening a auto detailing shop here soon and I am going to be the office lady but I’m also due the beginning of July so I’m just trying to get opinions. I will be working until I can’t any longer and then if my body and the doctor says I’m good to go after I have our son I will be right back to the shop with our son with me all the time. Do you think this is a good idea?

I don’t know how many people are reading the crucial detail: that you will have your son with you while you are working. That doesn’t sound good for you or the baby.

If you can make it work then go for it 
I was able to do (school)work with my son around until he was about 3 months old. Then he needed more stimulation than just being cuddled etc and I had to do any work while he napped. 
I have a friend that basically grew up in the bookstore his mom owned though so people definitely manage it. Just be prepared that it might not work out - you might want to start considering what your options are for daycare even if it’s just part time.

I work part time with my husband and do alright. As long as you've got childcare figured out you'll be fine because eventually there's a point where (I found) just letting them play in a play pen doesn't work. Maybe there's work you can do from home too.
