Pixie cut?

Goodness I want a pixie cut so, so badly. I’m 15 and I’ve wanted one more and more since I was around 12. Unfortunately, my mom is very, very hard standing and against the idea. Every time I even look at her she knows and starts screaming “YOU ARE NOT GETTING A PIXIE CUT!”
I was the first of my family to get my hair cut above my shoulders,

and now I just want it gone. My hair has always been a struggle since it’s so dense and frizzy and messy all the time. Don’t get me wrong, I do love it, it’s just a hassle and often looks poofy. The moment I got it cut to a bob it was the best decision I’ve ever made. And I figure now is the best time to get a pixie, since even if I don’t like it I can let it grow out before college.
Unfortunately, mom is not going to let it happen.
Kind of what I’m going for:

Really want the shaved sides but not a super long top, since I know my hair will just poof up like this lovely lady.
What I look like now basically:

(No my hair isn’t that golden, it’s just the light)
(And my eyes are brown but snapchat filters think blue is prettier apparently)
You guys think I would look good with a pixie or nah?

I have very thick hair.  I got a pixie this summer.  I love it for about a week than have hunted ever since.  And it taking forever to grow out. Also with pixies you will have to have it cut every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how fest your hair grows.  In the end you will have to try it one day. I had wanted to do a pixie cut since I was a kid.  I did have one as a kid and hated it than not sure why I thought it be better as an adult.  And he’ll it just hair. Hair grows.

I know these are not the best pictures but you get the idea. The first one is right after the cut.  The second is the about a week after. The last one is about six months after.  I have had it trimmed to keep it healthy as it grows out.

I think you would look amazing, and your hair is a great texture for a pixie. Ever since I was 12 I’ve wanted to dye my hair pink but I’ve never had the guts to do it (I’m a classical singer so I’ve always been surrounded by conventional people, plus the whole performing thing). Now that I’m 19 i finally did it and i am so happy. I regret not doing it sooner. I think you should go for it! You might regret it if you don’t, and what’s life when you’re constantly waiting for something to happen? :)

How and I wanted to say.  As for your mom.  Say mom I like to have a good talk about this. Can we please set down and talk about this.  My mom had a rule if we wanted something big we had to come to her. She say no the first time that we had to wait.  If we come back a few months later asking for the same thing she let us.  Maybe say this is the cut I want. If she says no go back in a few mo the and say mom I would really love to do this cut can I please. It’s hair. It will grow back. I hope that helps.  It can be hrs when you have a parent that will not even hear you out.  My dad was like that.

That bob is killer. I say if you don't get a pixie get it done above your shoulders again. I reckon you could rock it but you've gotta ask your hair dresser for advise too. At the same time, if you get one you just have to be prepared to take your mins consequences.
