Iron pills

Is anyone taking an iron pill due to anemia? I have been for about a week and just used the restroom for the first time in a few days and my stool was very dark. It says on the prescription it can change the color of your feces and everything I’m reading online says the same but it still freaked me out! Anyone else?? (Please no horror stories!)
