Dryness after period...help

So on the last day of my period and for a day or two after my vagina is a desert! I'm normally pretty moist down there but for like 2 days I'm uncomfortably dry. Can you put lotion on down there? It's more inside the lips though, and lube wears off after a while. Any tips? Coconut oil? Lol Thanks in advance
