How long to Braxton-Hicks last?

Just curious on how long the fake contractions last? I was under the impression that it was just a little while at a time. I’m nearing 5+ hours of them being pretty consistent. Don’t want to bother the midwife again if nothing is really wrong and I’m being a paranoid mom 🙂

I have them alll day! And multiple in an hour, but I got checked and cervix still closed...however since I know the difference between them an labor I’m not worried

As long as there is no discharge/blood, baby is moving ,and your not in pain . Your all clear .. I've been having them everyday now for about a week .midwife said it can happen everyday till baby is born erghhow annoying

I’ve been getting mine since probably 9/10weeks. I typically get 8-15+ an hour. My OB jokingly calls it “irritable uterus syndrome.” She’s (nor am I) really worried about it. They just want to know if it significantly increases and becomes painful (as it’s only very uncomfortable now), any blood, decreased or increased movement, etc. becomes more consistent and closer spaced together and longer. But if you’re a FTM and worried you could always reach out and ask them.
