How do you start over?

Thought I was pregnant, turns out I’m not. Went to the doctor and she put me on progestin to make my period start.... all I’ve done was discharged for a few days and boobs hurt, cramp, still no period! I just want my period to come so my calendar will start to be somewhat normal so I can calculate and know when AF is suppose to happen! So over trying to get pregnant! Really feel like its not going to happen! Really bummed that this wasn’t my chance! My husband and I were so excited! Sex drive has been really down since all this happened a few days ago! How does your calendar start over if you actually don’t start?
