Maternity leave.. help!

Can anyone help explain maternity leave benefits that are now offered through New York State? It’s so confusing to me.

I know I can use the rest of my paid time off through my employer (which will only be 2-3 paychecks). My friend told me then I can receive disability through my employer which is 75% of my pre-tax pay (is this mandated now in NYS?), then NYS disability which is only $170 per week.

Any answers or information would be helpful. I’ve left several messages for benefits but no one has called me back yet.
