Labor

So my mom and Poppop think I need to have a “plan” for if I go into labor when my husband is at work. My husband works in center city and we live by the edge of city limits and he’d be able to get home in like 40 minutes of me calling him, maybe a little longer if it’s one of the rush hours. They think I should call 911 to get an ambulance bc I “might not make it in time.” That’s a ridiculous plan right? I’m a ftm (37+2), but surely it’d be ok to wait for my husband to get home right?
