I’m confused

I’m about to give up ovulation testing I have been testing for a week straight they have all been the same except I tested around 12 this morning and the line was dark not a positive yet but the closest iv gotten so I just thought ok I’m going to get darker so I test again when I get home and the line is barely there what does that mean !? The bottom one is from this morning and the top is from just now I hope we didn’t miss our chance the top picture is how they have looked all week and the bottom is from today
