Anyone else have a tilted uterus???

Question

So apparently my uterus is tilted backwards which may or may not cause problems during pregnancy. I also haven’t been able to find baby’s heartbeat with the Doppler even though I have heard it through ultrasound at the doctors twice! I will be 11 weeks tomorrow and hoping this tilted uterus doesn’t cause problems!

Mine is! They said it’s not a problem. As baby grows the uterus will correct itself

You’ll have a tough time finding the heartbeat on a Doppler for a while (my doctor couldn’t find it at 13 weeks and had to do an ultrasound instead).
I asked if the tilted uterus would be a problem, and the OB said nope, just might cause extra back pain later in pregnancy and to get a belly band.

Nobody’s ever said anything to me. Just makes it harder to find on a scan and takes a skilled sonographer when you’re really early

I have one as well. I was told the only problem it will cause is back pain. It does take longer to hear the heart beat on the Doppler because of it. I have my 11 week appointment on Friday so I’m hoping all is well! Mine is tilted so far back the ultrasound tech had a hard time finding baby at first.

I found out a few years ago when I started seeing my doctor for infertility that I had a tilted uterus. I was told that it wouldn’t be an issue getting pregnant or staying pregnant because of it and that it was common. She did say it would maybe make it harder to see baby on ultrasound really early though. (FYI I never had an issue seeing Baby early on ultrasound.) She said closer to the second trimester it would automatically right itself though. I had an ultrasound at 12+2 and it had righted back to normal. 😊

Mine is also tilted! Doctors have told me all sorts of things like I wouldn't be able to carry full term etc. I'm on my 2nd child with no problems.... my 1st pregnancy I had NO issues... so dont stress and just let god and the universe do the rest. Our bodies are so amazing and strong, it knows what to do... 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🤰🏾

My doc said a long time ago I have a  retroverted uterus. Is that the same thing? I think they said it was tilted backwards.

I was told I do and plan on asking the doctor more about it tomorrow .
