1st or 2nd trimester?

Currently 13w. 
When do you think or when do you consider yourself to be in the 2nd trimester? Week 13 or 14? 🤔

My dr said 14 weeks is the start of the second trimester and 28 weeks starts the 3rd. But they also said that it varies by different doctor opinions.

Technically 2nd trimester starts at like 13w4d but no one starts a trimester in the middle of the week so most consider second trimester at 14 weeks! Few say “ah this is just a few days early so I’ll say 13 weeks” but to me, I’m not “truly” in it until the 14 week mark. Lol. If that makes sense.

I always went by 14 weeks being the start of 2nd

My doctor told me each trimester is about 13 weeks, so the second trimester starts at 14 weeks and the third trimester starts at 27
