Sensing Ovulation in my SO

Question for you guys out there. Recently my SO came off the pill and started having her normal cycles. There was one day I was extremely attracted to her around the middle of her cycle and all I wanted to do was BD. I recently read that some men might be able to detect when their SO is ovulating. I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks,
