Baby monitor

I'm on the market for a new monitor set and can't seem to find one I like. I was thinking about the nanit or lollipop, but looking into it I don't like either.

I'm needing one that can have multiple camera's, has the room temperature, and overall good quality.

This is the one I use and I LOVE it! Any time someone comes over, they comment on how cool my baby monitor is! Hahah! It has temp. Reading, can set up multiple cameras and see them both on the same screen, you can talk to your baby through the screen which has been a life saver, it plays music and has night vision. You can mount it to your wall or use the little bendy tripod that comes with it, it wraps around basically anything. Best part is that it isn’t WiFi so no one else could tap into your monitor and see your baby! That was a huge necessity for me. Highly recommend!

Yes, when we first had our son my husband downloaded it and would watch our son through it. He loved it

Thank you! I might just have to try this one. Especially since I can also connect to my phone. Can you check it while you're not home with your phone?

Mine did that but I just got a different charger like a $5 one at the DG and it works a lot better

Nest Cam is great. You can use your phone to view anywhere where there’s WiFi or your cellular data. You also get messages sent to your phone when motion or sound occurs.

I was going to go with the nest, but Nanit has amazing reviews and was even better. My SIL has the nest and would Sometimes have an issue with lagging. But overall nest is a great camera. I just prefer the Nanit because it is so clear, can’t get hacked and has more features than the Nest

That I definitely agree with you on. But the thing is, what you get with that subscription is not a necessity and honestly not even worth it in the first place. But the features you get with the camera alone and the quality is what makes it really worth it

I just dont like the fact you have to pay for a subscription just to use the full function. You're already paying a good price for it, but here let me pay more just to get the full use lol. So dumb in my opinion.

I had Motorola and hated it. I now use nanit and LOVE IT!! Can I ask what you didn’t like about it? We also use the facial recognition nest cams around our home and they are great and have on in our sons room but not over his crib (you can only see him standing up). I didn’t want to rely on the nest for my monitor as it has a delay and goes offline frequently. We also had a cheap VTech monitor for sound only ( it’s the DM221) I use the audio on this rather than nanit as it doesn’t pick up the white noise, just the babies noises.

Oh okay. Yes we do pay for a subscription (which includes nanit insights) I do though really love the sleep analysis and massively benefited from it during sleep regressions and sleep training. Would I still get it without the subscription? Probably yes! The picture quality, zoom, night vision, Birdseye view, playback, accessibility and controls, the app itself is amazing- are unmatched by anything on the market right now. They have also just developed a new accessory that works with the camera to let you know if your baby has stopped breathing. Definitely getting that for next baby as I often worried about this with first.
