Cliché mother-in-law

I know, I know I’m cliché and want to rant about my mother-in-law and maybe you ladies can tell me if I’m being dramatic. So my daughter is half black half white, my husband is black I’m white and ever since my daughters been born my mother-in-law constantly makes remarks about how light she is and even wanted to see her butt because she said that shows her “true”color. Like who cares!!! Then last night she asked to FaceTime with the baby, so I did and she said to her “You look like an Indian baby are you sure you’re your daddy’s” idk if she was trying to be funny but it’s not. THEN my baby spit up and she said “ oh baby why are you spitting up, is mommy eating something she shouldn’t be and making you sick?” (She’s exclusively breastfed.) ughh this lady makes me so mad. I told my husband what she said when he got home and he was pissed as well. I don’t want him to say anything and start a big fight but on the other hand I don’t know how many more of these little comments I can’t take before I go off. It’s so weird we’ve been together for ten years, since we were 15 and 16. His mother and I have always had a good relationship, idk maybe I’m just being too sensitive.
