Recently I found out that my sister has been talking badly about me behind my back. My fiancé and I had been trying for a baby for months, and we had found out our sister is pregnant but she wasn’t telling anyone. She hid her pregnancy from everyone except another family member who disclosed it with us. Recently we found out she had an abortion because the baby wasn’t the gender she wanted. How do I invite someone who has been talking crap on me, and aborted our future niece/nephew, to my baby shower? My fiancé can’t even look at her.

I also want to add that the baby was healthy, that is why we are so upset that she got an abortion. The only thing wrong with it was that it wasn’t the gender she wanted. She talked about trying again to conceive the gender she wants within the next year.
