My 7 month old has a stomach bug. She's had an on and off fever the last two days and has been just crummy feeling. Went to the pediatrician today and they said it's probably viral and just let it run it's course and try to keep her hydrated. Bigger issue is that I can't get get to nurse, she will half latch and then start screaming. I got her to nurse twice earlier today but nothing since. She did take a bottle for me a few hours ago but still didn't drink much. I'm worried that even once she feels better she'll not want to nurse and I hate pumping. She'll be home with her dad tomorrow while I work so she will be getting bottles but I'm hoping when I get home she'll want to nurse like normal. Anyone else had this happen and it turned out okay?
