Back to work - will baby self wean?

I just went back to work full-time at 6 months PP. I was exclusively breastfeeding but now my baby will be taking bottles (with breast milk) 3-4 times per day during the week. I'll always breastfeed her a couple times when I get home, during the nights, and on the weekends. Could this potentially cause my baby to self wean since she'll be taking so many bottles now?

I went back to work also at 6 months. My son did not self ween at all. I slowly dropped all feedings except night time at around 1 year and then night time nursed until 15 mo.

Biologically, it is not normal for a baby to self wean before 1 year. It is very unlikely that it will happen!

In my case no.. and I went back to work 3m pp. She self weaned at 13.5 months 😁

Not always. I was off of work for almost 4 months and he usually will fight me that first feed after I get home, but after that he eats just like normal.

Not necessarily. My son hasn’t weaned completely (16 months) and he feeds himself, drinks out of bottle & sippy cup as well
