Okay, so me and my bf have been dating for 3 years. I'm Mexican and he's Korean. I'm not engaged yet, and we're both struggling through grad school so we're pretty broke right now.

However we talked about getting married when we finish, and see a bit more financially stable.

And so here's the thing.

I dont understand how this wedding would even go? I want certain Mexican traditions to be done, and I'm sure theres things he wants too.

So I guess my question is, how was your wedding? Did you compromise? Did you have two weddings? (I'm asking bc one of my friends threw separate weddings for both sides of the family)
