First child - is natural too optimistic?
I am leaning towards a natural birth at a birthing centre with midwives (if my pregnancy goes to plan and there are no complications). It is attached to a hospital, so if there were complications there is that benefit.
However, this is my first child.. I don’t know what to expect. As much as I would prefer not to have any interventions / drugs if not needed, I am struggling to make that decision because I just don’t know what it is like.
The birthing centre I want to go to does not offer epidurals at all.
Or I can go to a local hospital that has the option.
I want to be sure on my decision and birthing plan 😪
Please share any birthing stories or experiences! How did you know what was right for you? Did it change during the labour?
