For those that did not use ICSI, what was your outcome?

My husband has great sperm so my doctor is not recommending it. We are unexplained but we have conceived before naturally. I’m so worried none will fertilize. I’m 29. AMH of 3 and in a high responder protocol

In my first cycle I just did IVF but no fertilisation. In my 2nd Dr recommend ICSI and got 2 fertilise. I got similar issue like yours, low AMH and no issue with my husband sperm quality. I just turned 33.

my clinic does ICSI standard, we didn’t even get option not to lol

My clinic did it on an as needed basis only. So if they didn’t fertilize naturally, they used icsi.

every one of our eggs fertilized. there was 7 mature eggs. all went to day 3 and 5 to day 5 . his sperm is great.  I'm just older and have pcos.

Our specialist recommended it because my husband had issues with the shape if his sperm if your husband sperm is fine some doctors will not recommend it. I don't think insurance will coverage it either if you don't have an issue. Btw I'm 26 weeks pregnant. Good luck!
