Trusting my doctor when It comes to IVF...
I am starting IVF meds on 2/16. My doctor did not put ICSI in my plan because my husband has amazing sperm. Also, insurance denied It for the same reason. If we don’t do ICSI and no eggs fertilize the entire cycle will be wasted. We could do ICSI and guarantee the sperm get in the egg but It doesn’t guarantee fertilization. It’s $2000 for ICSI. 80% of IVF is covered by insurance so I won’t be paying too much out It pocket for that. I’m 29, we are unexplained infertility and we have conceived before naturally
