When to start preparing for baby...?

I'm about to hit 20 weeks, and as I'm approaching the halfway point I'm starting to wonder when I need to prepare things for our little girl. We already have pretty much everything aside from a diaper bag bought & my sister had a girl about 9 months ago, so we have plenty of clothes coming out way. So that just leaves the other things -- when to organize & prepare the nursery, when to pack the hospital bag + do the hospital tour, and if there's certain exercises or things I need to be doing / getting to prepare for labor? Its our first, so I just want to be prepared. Any kind of advice would be appreciated!

Everyone is different. We didn’t start till about 24 weeks and I’m 28 now. I have a baby shower in three weeks and we have most of the big stuff but now it’s just organizing putting together and cleaning. Do what feels right—- I just like to be prepared and want to prepare in case I start to lose motivation 😬

I honestly started buying little things here and there like a year before I found out that I was pregnant lol. However since finding out, I have mostly just purchased clothes when I find something on sale and I also try to buy a 3 pack of wipes every other week to stock up. I also am cloth diapering and have also bought about half of the diapers I am going to need. I am going to wait closer to my baby shower to worry about the big stuff and a hospital bag and such.

I just started shopping for little clothes here and there at 23 weeks! Maybe next week after my 24th week scan I’ll do more 😅

I'm a lil superstitious so I usually wait til after the 1st trimester lol.. I'm currently 23+5 nd jus started buying clothes nd headbands lola.. My baby shower is in 6 weeks so.. I'm gone finish after my baby shower.. Jus so I know what's needed.. So I'd get the basics.. Nd go from there.. Also Children's place has everything 50% off online and store.. Good luck

I’m 37 weeks on Monday, we aren’t doing a nursery this time until she’s ready to be moved to her own room and we had basically everything from our first daughter. But I did get a few things and am about to set up the bassinet in our room and pack my hospital bag this week.

I started purchasing things about 25 weeks. Baby shower at 28 weeks then still receiving gifts. Packed my bag at 36 weeks. Now just waiting.
