Is it better to do ovulation prediction kits or just have sex every other day to insure you’re hitting ovulation whenever it may be?

Answer

Depends on the situation and whether there's other factors involved ie infertility etc, if you know usually when your due to ovulate then time it well ie every other day leading up to ovulation day. If there's infertility issues ie false surges usually mostly when you have PCOS then every other day. Everyday isn't what fertility doctors recommend. Checking BBT, cervical position and cervical fluid helps to time things well also. Ovulation test strips only detect the surge before ovulation aswell. But sperm can live upto 5 days in good cervical fluid. If there's not a good amount of fluid then sperm dies after a few hours, so time it well. Good luck

Have sex every other day starting CD 10 until you get a positive OPK the bd that day and the next 3 days!!!

It’s best to do both! That way you’ll have a better idea of when you ovulate!!!!
