Hello mamas!

Just recently I went through the whole New Jersey certification process, getting my certification, and applying to 9 different districts. Well this last week my boyfriend tells me we are now moving to Brooklyn New York. Park Slope, Brooklyn to be exact. Not really a huge deal, but now I have to start over. Has anyone applied for teaching certificate in New York, at all? I’m having trouble finding out exactly what I need to do and what exactly they need. I’ve tried calling the department of Ed, but it’s been almost an hour wait time to get through. Also, are any of you mamas familiar with any Brooklyn, manhattan, or school districts near those areas?
