My husband and I eloped last year because we were so tired of not being married 😂 But we’re having a ceremony and reception for our families on our first year anniversary.

Idk if it’s truly eloping Since everyone knew we were running off, but my husband and I got engaged last January and married last April. We didn’t invite anyone but my aunt so she could chase our one year old during our ceremony. I bought a dress off the sale rack (spent like $300 on dress, veil, jewelry, belt, garter) we went to garden of the gods since it’s a place that has meaning to us and we hired a minister and photographer we found on Craig’s list. We got married did some pictures with our toddler and then my aunt took him back home. It was beyond perfect! (I was 18 weeks pregnant) we had a very personal memorable wedding that I got my dress and pictures with no drama and very little planning and money involved. We also had a big celebration a few months later that we did on the cheap.
