Baby aspirin and progesterone cream to reduce miscarriage

After a experiencing a miscarriage my obgyn suggested that as soon as I find out I am pregnant again to come into the office so she can prescribe progesterone cream as it may help reduce the risk of another miscarriage. She also spoke about baby aspirin to promote circulation as it thins blood and prevents blood clotting.

Has anyone had success with this? I'm not a doctor but I am a bit on the fence about taking these things when the time comes. I do not have low progesterone or blood clotting. Just afraid of what adverse effects that may have on a fetus.
