Moms at home...how frequently do you pump?
Hi mamas! Little man is 3 months old (FTM). I am working from home until I go back “in person” when he is 9 months. I have ~80 oz of frozen milk. Whenever he is bottle fed (me having conference calls, going out, whatever the case), I pump and freeze.
At first, I felt the need to store so we had enough available. Now, I find pumping a hassle because it takes away from my work and baby time. I feed “from the tap” always except for a bottle 1-2x a week.
Moms at home, do you pump religiously, or just when baby has a bottle? Will my supply go down by not pumping, like should I aim to always have a daily session in there? It just got cumbersome. I plan to pick it up again when I have a lull in the influx of work I have right now, so I’m hoping at that time, I can stockpile more. I was getting up to pump in the middle of the night bc of engorgement when he started sleeping through the night, but I have found sleep is very helpful 😂
