I'm 38 weeks 5 days and go to the doctor every week and have been since 34 weeks. Everyone has told me that I should be getting 'checked' every time after 36 weeks. I haven't. I also had to get a non stress test last week & everything was fine on the monitors on my stomach but still haven't been checked. I have no idea if I'm dialated any or thinned or anything! The only thing they do is check the heart beat and my blood pressure. I'm going to be 39 weeks at my next appt on Tuesday and haven't even been told about being induced or anything. This is my first pregnancy and was wondering if this is normal. I feel like I should know a lot more about what is going on but I don't even know what to ask.
