Chapped lips?

Dont judge me but is this cold sores or dry lips? I have a 6 week old at home and I don't want to pass it to her on accident!:/ i have bumps in side my lip but the bump feels like inside my skin  but i do bite the insides sometimes :( I'm just worried about these being cold sores and i don't want to go to urgent care and look like a moron:/

My lips get super super chapped in the winter. I use Burt’s Bees chapstick, it’s the most soothing one I’ve found other than Carmex (I hate the smell of it). I suggest applying it maybe every 2 hours if not more. Also drinking lotssss of water will help too. Try not to lick your lips a lot because that’ll just make it worse.

This sounds stupid, but I had the same situation. I’m allergic to soy, and “Chapstick” changed their formula. I got these bumps and it made my lips crack and bleed. When I finally got something soy-free, it was magically better. If your lips keep looking like that, don’t put more and more on. Maybe switch chapsticks🤷🏼‍♀️😂

They aren’t cold sores. I rarely get cold sores but I do from weather change. A cold sore is a blister on the outside of your mouth usually on the edge on your lip by the corners.

Happens to me too I don’t know if it’s a cold sore but I use blistex and it works wonders.

You can try a honey mask for chapped lips. Just coat you dry washed lips in a layer of honey and resist the urge to eat it all. Leave for 5 mins and wash off. Repeat as needed. Should leave your lips feeling soft and smooth.
