What its like being a single mom/being single forever?

Any women out their dealing with this let me know. As i am a single mom for yearss& getting criticized that why arent i married and this and that when its my choice and i choose to be a single mom.

I’m a single mother. Been single 6 years since I was 31 weeks pregnant. I wasn’t in love with my ex, despite using bc we somehow got pregnant early on in the relationship and it just didn’t work out between us. He’s a good dad. 
I haven’t met anyone worth having a relationship with in the past 6 years. I’ve been on a few dates here n there but it’s never gone anywhere for different reasons. I had a fwb which ended when he moved away with work. 
I find a lot of guys think I’m going to be desperate because I’m a single mother, I’m far from it. I’ve also been told I’m too independent for my own good, but I guess that’s coming from men that can’t handle a strong woman. 
I’m happy single. I’m not lonely. If a guy doesn’t add something special to improve my life for the better there’s no point me being with him.
