Hi girls, I just recently found out I am pregnant and I really want to get myself in better shape. I was lightly exercising (treadmill/ elliptical cardio, lifting low weights at the gym, taking a yoga or Zumba class here and there) a few months before I got pregnant but since the holidays (thanksgiving and Christmas) I really slacked off. I know they usually recommend that you keep the same level of activity from before you were pregnant as a gauge for what your body can handle, but realistically I had very low activity. I don’t want to use that as an excuse to sit on the couch I want to get up and moving.

I used to be very athletic and active many years ago but with marriage, career and kids I have completely lost track of it all. I feel like I know absolutely nothing about fitness anymore. (It’s been about 10 years)

My first doctor appt isn’t for a few more weeks.

Any advice, personal stories, successes, etc you could pass along to me please?! Thanks! 😊
