Is this normal ?

I’m 8 weeks pregnant and things at home haven’t been great. I’m nauseous every evening and I had the flu followed by a UTI. When I’m not sick we’re fighting for different reasons . Needless to say my sex Drive has been non existent. Last night my partner was laying next to me in bed , he thought I was sleeping so he decided to start looking at naked women and porn on his phone . When I confronted him he turned it around and blamed me . Is this normal ?

I’d say it sounds quite normal although I don’t know whether you’re fighting is a relationship problem that you need to sort out or if it’s just the pregnancy from what you’ve said. Feeling unwell and a lower sex drive is normal. Unfortunately UTIs can be a bit more common too (make sure you’re being treated). As to the porn, unless he doesn’t want to have sex with you I would just pretend you didn’t see it. That’s his business and it’s only going to make things worse between you if you start encroaching on each other’s personal space. Pregnancy is emotionally quite hard at times I think but hopefully things will start to get better soon when you start feeling better. If you’re having a tough time then do speak to your doctor or midwife about it :) x

For him to blame you, no. Also, it would have been decent for him to do that in another room or the bathroom. My husband won’t do it if I am awake and does it in another room. My sex drive went up later in pregnancy though and now he rarely does it.
